I have a Panasonic PT-51D30 that is 4 years old (ancient) with component input. Manual states that the tv is capable of 480i and 480p with set top box. All my searching I think the set top box is like a HD receiver with no inputs for dvd. Is there any way to get the 480i or 480p with my dvd player or xbox?? Both components are now connected to the tv with component cable but I am not getting the 480i or 480p. Thanks for any help.
