Currently i am using the dvi port to connect my dvd player.I plan to get digital cable but they do carry stbs with hdmi.I want to use the dvi output on the stb but with the dvi port on the tv is occupied. I can go from dvi out on the stb to the hdmi port on the tv but I do not know what to do with the audio output on the stb.I will only use the component video as a last resort. Any ideas?
there are DVI to HDMI cables and converters ... check Ebay, where I got my cable for cheaper.
DVI is digital video only vs HDMI is digital video with audio on same cable... so with the converter you will only get video probably and have to run a separate audio cable.
