Hello Guys,
I bought sharp 32 inch LED model -> LC-32LE632E and trying to insert AV input(composite cable) to it. But as the LED does not seem to have any AV(composite cable) input I connected the composite cables in component cable slot. After doing that the picture is coming as black & white.

Has anyone experienced this earlier. Please help me out in resolving it.

Thanks in advance!

Composite is probably NO longer supported. No HD, either, which fits.
Component...the 5 RCA connector bundle is better......
I believe this will carry an HD signal, but some legal restrictions apply so support is waning.

I don't remember the details but you should look up the WIKI about these types. For component, I think, the colors are carried seperately from the luminance signal. Composite? All in one....
The red/white in both is stereo audio.

Best bet? Try to go HDMI for vids an use optical for audio. IF using a HT receiver, HDMI using the receiver as switch.
