Posted on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 - 15:47 GMT Fringe area reception can usually be augmented by buying a larger Dish. You might consider buying a larger Dish to do what you want to do, but it is best if you ask locals the same question. |

Posted on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 - 17:38 GMT Subject: Is Regina, Saskatchewan, covered for Echostart 7 for 119 W Jigz787..........Dish Network is not license to do business in Canada, so a larger Dish as nydas suggested will not help you. |

Posted on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 - 17:43 GMT Dee: As per your boss LK, "lallu" may have a sub which is highly recommended by her, or other solutions of which you are not aware. As I said earlier, "Fringe area reception can usually be augmented by buying a larger Dish. You might consider buying a larger Dish to do what you want to do, but it is best if you ask locals the same question." |

Posted on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 - 01:13 GMT lallu: wouldn't it be more productive to buy a singal finder of some sort first before you invest in a "larger dish" that may or may not pick up anything. Or call the local Bell company and ask if you can get Bell TV. in your area I am not to sure but if your bell reciever can pick up a signal so might and FTA reciever. |

Posted on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 - 12:30 GMT These are the 50 dBW contour isobars for EchoStar 14 at 119.0°W spotbeams (Alaska, the land of large antennas excepted). Fifty one (51) spotbeams in total. I included the Conus thumbnail( posted earlier) and the complete 35 dBw and above contours thumbnail so you all can have some idea of the huge amount of data that is available for any given area. The spotbeams are divided into two groups, A and B. Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico each have two (2) nearly identical spotbeams and several other areas have overlaping beams that are very similar in shape ( South Texas and South Florida in particular). |
