Posted on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 - 01:23 GMT }I want to disable the hard drive in this DVR since it is in a rental unit and won't be used by my guests. It runs continuously and i want to save the energy and lifetime of the hard drive by disabling it. I would enable it when I stay in this ski rental unit. Has anyone done this? Does it affect the operating of the regular HDTV functionality of the box? Thanks, Jerry |
