I like to know what a purchase will do for me so I have searched this forum and learned a lot but we have no similar site here. We PAL Brits are way behind you NSTC Yanks and only a few of our big screens and DVD recorders have component outputs or inputs and finding out if they are progressive scan capable and then if PAL is catered for is a nightmare. Even RGB is not universal. As for HDTV, it might get here at high cost in a couple of years. I need someone to explain the specifications of PAL component and progressive scan. Can anyone help?
