Bronze Member Username: SlobizmanPost Number: 15 Registered: Jul-04 | I just swapped out my old DTV/Tivo reciever with the new HR10-250. It is connected to my Samsung 5063 DLP TV. I cannot get the Tivo welcome screen unless I connect the two with Component Video Cables. When I try with Monster HDMI or the supplied HDMI-to-DVI cables, all I get is "no signal." I'm certain I have the right inputs plugged in and selected on the TV. DirecTV is no help. I'm on hold with Samsung for the last 30 minutes. Is there something special I have to do to make this setup work? |

Read about it on the Tivo forum: http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=183203&perpage=2 0&pagenumber=1 It appears that many, many of these units are going out with bad HDMI outputs! Crap. I bought from Circuit City online and they cannot even replace it since there are none in stock. I have to just send it back for a refund!!! It was so hard to find one too. What a pain. |
