Posted on Sunday, July 03, 2011 - 21:12 GMT I have two tapes that won't play, they start playing and then start making a roaring sound and the picture goes blank and the vcr cuts off. Could it be dirt build up on the old tapes if so how to clean them? |

There is 3 things which could do this problem, the loading belt slip, the belt drive slip or the tape slip on the Pinch roller then the VCR fall in protect mode! |

i record my programes while i am at work .
everything is fine but when i play back the video it starts ok and then snowy like lines come and go got track ok for awhile then back again these are new video tapes vhs ..sometimes when i play it back it is exactly like donald duck just keep tracking goes away but other remains and i don't why it dosen't just play clearly as these are all new ....Heads have cleaned but shouldn't need too. please help i am getting rather mad with it ...
