I have a question about my cable connection. My connection is set up as such:
Cable Input > 4 way Amplifier > Toshiba 19" HD 400 series, and a Hitachi 32" HDTV.
After the amplifier the signals are grounded... not that that should really matter in this case.
The Hitachi has no problem picking up all the signals. It has all of the basic cable channels as well as the digital 4-1, 4-2... etc.
The Toshiba can only pick up the standard cable channels. If I manually tune to 4-1 I don't get a picture.
There are a few different settings that I can use for setup: Digital Antenna, Analog Antenna, and Cable. None of these really seem to produce the correct settings.
Anyone have an idea of a solution? It is a difficult decision of whether I want to be able to watch HD local channels at the expense of not being able to watch the local MLB team.
