Posted on Thursday, December 09, 2010 - 23:55 GMT I hooked a hdmi cable to dish hd dvr and the other end to rca hdtv after setting the sat. and get a good picture using red-white and yellow plugs but can not get a picture with the hdmi cables. W do I need to do? |

Posted on Sunday, December 12, 2010 - 01:04 GMT HDMI can have compatibility issues depending on equipment used. A different cable might work or changing the output setting on the DN receiver.
I just hooked up a DVD player to an HDMI cable I've used on my TV for a few years that has had about half a dozen different things connected to it without any problems but it won't work with the new player no matter what I do. A different cable on a different input works fine. |
