IKS and EKS are different ways of doing the same thing. EKS is a pay service and the lifetime $100 has been changed to $100 initial payment and then $5 per month. But you don't know how long they can stay up once they get going

Satzen is made by Zoomsat.
CNX is made by Conaxtech, Inc.,
a much better established brand.
Although Zoomsat has more time in the world market.

I just looked up some dam information.
The tallest dam seems to be Grand Dixence in Switzerland at 285 metre.
Three Gorges is 101 metres and Narmada is 139 metres.
It is in Hydro generation capacity that Three Gorges is better than Narmada.
It is absolutely stupid to say "irrigation is irrelevant". If you have seen the deserts of Rajputana and Kutch, you would know what a big impact this dam has - the waters are going to go as far as southern Rajputana and to Kutch. The amount of farmland reclaimed and available is astounding and that means food.
In America where food production is abundant, dams have never been associated with irrigation and food production - always with hydro generation, hence your incomprehension of the irrigation benefits to the people of four states in India, from the Narmada project and this aspect of it is better with Narmada dam than with Three Gorges.
Anothe aspect of a dams capacity is the somewhat reciprocal relationship between irrigation water and generation of Electricity. If more water is sent off via canals for irrigation, less is available for power generation. I read this and even now I am unable to understand it fully.

"environmental activists have been protesting it since the 80's"
That is true. It is also true that Indian society has acceped democracy with all its stregths and weknesses. Therefore, protest is allowed and accepted, unlike China where protests are stifled. However, the Government of China has admitted to the enormous negative environmental impact of Three Gorges Dam, as opposed to the highest Indian Courts allowing further height of the dam after hearing from the acitvists and other concerned bodies.

I have already revised my statement saying that overall after all these considerations, the Three Gorges dam of China is "bigger". I think Narmada supporters in India in their zeal of competing with China got carried away with the height specifications of Narmada dam which is slightly taller and did not give enough consideration to the other aspects mentioned above. And I also got dragged into beleiveing them.
