I tried to connect my Asus U1F laptop to Sony bravia tv. But the screen on tv is blank, and it says that pc is not connected -- no signal. I tried connecting another laptop and it worked. On u1f if go into settings it shows that tv is connected to it, but nothing shows up on tv. I got another VGA cable --same thing= nothing
Control panel > Display > Settings > Multiple Displays
I suspect that you have detected the second display but not told your computer to use it.There are choices between extending the second display, duplication, or only using display 2. One of these three options should be chosen.
