A moving company moved my stuff 2 years ago and every since my tv has made this noise. It also causes a very slight almost not noticeable flickering of the screen. Can't really see it unless its a bright solid color or my PC is hooked up to it. Anyways, I had always thought it was the color wheel and I would replace it when it went out. Well now my tv turns on for a few seconds lights up then shuts off. I figured the wheel had finally given up, but now I dont think it is the wheel and the tv shutting off is just that the lamp finally needs replacing. I have had the tv since late 2006. Check out the video, the sound starts and stops instantly, no spinning up or down. Sorry about the wind noise I forgot about the lamp fan in there. The noise is clearly louder over the optics, what is this? |
