Good Evening
The fottball season is upon us and I can't keep waiting for Pansa to release a dongle that will work. I thought that I knew everything about the stand alones but the new way ( I'm lost here ) Would someone be so kind as to tellme what I need to order and where is the best place to get the equip. I need a list of everything that I will need to get the birds flying again.

Thanks

Just a note to all of you.
I have been an observer for about two months and I want you all to know that I appreciate all of your input. And of course thanks to the programmers. You have no idea how nice it is to have all the DN. My situation is that I am newly divorced lonely, and with out enough money for a cheeseburger. But I can see a good game or movie in the privacy of my home.

Thanks to all
and
Merry Christmas!

Can anyone respond to my original question of what I need to get my birds back. A professional opinion away from the bs that seems to plague this site would be greatly appreciated. What receiver is best and what other items will I need. Or just provide me with a site to go too.

sat-man:
You need to point to Galaxy 17 at 91 W.
The channels on Galaxy 17 you want are C band, not ku.
You will need a 6 foot dish, and a C band lnb or lnbf to get these stations
Change your lnb Frequency to 10750 and do a blind scan.. The TP for NHL feed is 12070(H), SR=6110 FEC 3/4.
Bell's Nimiq1 is also located at that location and you will pick Nimiq 1 if you use a circular LNB (KU band) and a smaller dish and then will be confused.

Nalin Nyda---sat man is talking about NFL
Football not NHL hockey.

The TP 12070 that you have listed above is
Digicicipher 2 so the C-band will not help him.

sat-man as of today there no NFL FTA
only what you can pickup on you Local
channels.

Nalin

Thank you for professional assistance. Truly all I want is to get system back up. I have Pansat 3500sd and Pansat 9200 HD.I understand that they are down , but waiting on the dogle could be a while , especially waiting for standalone. Which system do you suggest that I order just to get tv back. I understand that I need NFusion and some other things but need help from someone that is currently watching. I was told that the birds don't have to be adjusted. I need to have a new receiver , and some other devices. I must keep computer on at all times so I assume that I need it to be wireless.

Please help

There are basically three groups of receivers working with IKS.
Nfusion started with the BEV channels and has added DN channels now. Do not buy a Nova.
http://www.dssrookie.com/forums/nfusion-discussion/104796-nfusion-just-added-mor e-channles-list-inside-2.html

Kbox with Khub has maximum Dish channels and more recently some BEV channels. The only list I am able to find is at:
http://www.dssrookie.com/forums/k-box-discussion/106026-kbox-not-working-all-tra nsponders.html

Similar story with Sonicview 360 with ihub. (sonicviewihub.com)
I do not have the channels list

sonysat is a late entry and it is in beta stage.

Since your interest is football, you will have to figure out which of these lists apply to you. There are regional broadcasts on the major network, and also possibly on GOL TV.

None of the receivers that Nalin is talking
about will carry the NFL package

Every year my relatives, very keen on NFL watch it on BEV.
If Nfusion has nearly all BEV channels, it WILL be available on it.
In 2005, during the big blackout, people were crying and again some were watching on locals.

So BUTTS, you BUTT OUT and let us talk sense.

I am sorry to say that Chumley is wrong again.

According to Lyngsat:

Galaxy 17 is a C and Ku band Dish.
There is no TP 12170 (H). It no longer exists.
