Posted on Monday, August 10, 2009 - 14:39 GMT I am having problem connecting the Phoenix to the internet using SMC router/modem from Rogers. My IP address in the receiver keeps on showing all zeros. Has anybody been able to connect their Nfusion using the SMC router/modem from Rogers. If so, could you please let me know how it can be done. |

Posted on Monday, August 10, 2009 - 14:49 GMT The IP address has to be 192.168.2.xx and the command to find out the IP address is ipconfig (Start -> Run -> "cmd" [enter] -> "ipconfig" [enter]). You can also do ipconfig from command line (MSDOS) |

Posted on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 - 23:31 GMT no it will not work, there is some problem with the smc router, the best option for you is go to rogers and exchange smc wireless router for a motorola modem, it works perfectly with motorola, i had the same problem setting it up at a friends place and tried everything and then then after changing it to motorola it works fine. |

Posted on Thursday, August 13, 2009 - 03:45 GMT Getting a router to dish out DHCP is no rocket science. I have a $15 Trendata router that has been doin that for the past 4 years. |
