Blu ray and 1080I

David Massey Gold Member Username: Samijubal Post Number: 3989 Registered: Jul-04	Posted on Sunday, December 28, 2008 - 23:18 GMT It won't play an SD-DVD in 1080i, it will upconvert the DVD to 1080i, something the TV does anyway. Wheather it will look better than the TV's upconversion depends on the quality of the TV. A good quality TV will do a pretty good job of upconversion, a cheap TV not so much. It will play Blu-ray discs in 1080i.
