I would like to record the Audio from Cable MusicChoice Channels onto a casette tape using the 2 of the 3 component outputs on my cable box. Does anyone know how to do this?

COMPONENT outputs or COMPOSITE outputs?

audio output connectors are generally red/white and occasionally red/black

Thanks for your help, you helped me out a lot last time I posted w/connection problems and I really appreciate it. The outputs on my cable converter box are as you said; red & white for audio and yellow for video. They are currently connected to the A/V inputs on my DVD recorder. Could I plug them into a casette recorder to get the audio onto a tape?

Thanks,

SK

Give it try.

The signal may not be strong enough, so you may have to connect to the amplifier on your stereo system if you have one and then record to a cassette deck.
