Posted on Wednesday, July 23, 2003 - 22:33 GMT Does any one know when we will start seeing these inputs on TVs. I know that they are plannig on replacing DVI with this technology. It sounds great in that its backwards compatible with DVI. Also is HDDVD going to have this output as well as component and DVI? Thanks for any info you could pass my way. |

Posted on Saturday, October 25, 2003 - 11:34 GMT So far I know Pioneer Elite is coming out with full lines of rear projection TVs and plasmas with this HDMI connection during this winter. The first DVD, SACD, DVD-A player with HDMI is also from Pioneer Elite (DV-59AVi). It obvious that Pioneer Elite Receivers will also have HDMI. |
