i have heard that you can use a sima product to get around copyright protected materials. which one is the best? and is there a place where i can find these products for cheap? any information would be helpful. thanks.

I don't think Sima makes stabilizers anymore. If you want one you'll have to look on Ebay or Amazon marketplace. Either way it won't be cheap.

sorry, i have a vcr/dvd recorder combo and i was looking to make dvd copies of all my vhs tapes.

With most combos you'll need a seperate VCR. Look for a video stabilizer on Ebay. The only one I can say that should work for sure is the Dimax Grex, it's about $90.
