I have a Sony KDF55WF655 LCD rear projection TV. Its about 2 years old and I have about 5000 hours of viewing on it.
Lately the colors near the bottom of the screen are very blue. Almost a band of blue color across the bottom. This extends higher in the middle of the TV but not as blue as near the bottom.
I am hoping this is just the bulb going, but I expected the TV to go faint or not work at all if the bulb goes. I don't want to spend money on a new bulb if it won't fix this.
Has anybody seen anything like this before? Is it my bulb or is the TV dying?
