This is probably an old topic, but I'm new on the forum.
I have the hourglass problem on my Mitsubishi WT-46807 rear projection HDTV. I have opened the back and located the circuit board with the F9A05 and other fuses in the center of the chassis, but I don't see an obvious way to remove the circuit board.
My plan is to send the board to the MIT service center to be reworked. I have no interest in testing or repairing myself, and it appears to me from the discussions regarding this problem that the board either has bad solder joints or possibly IC problems. The fuses (wires soldered on the board?) appear to be okay.
