Hi,
for some reason I plugged my cable wire into a line that I think that was used for internet and I cancelled my internet about awhile ago. so now i am getting like 100 channels that are great. I was wondering if im gonna get cought. I mean can comcast track basic cable? When i go to the tv guide it shows weather forcasts for a suburb that is about 15 min away. I think its ok since they didnt do anything to the wire that im gettin cable from. Also this is only one cable that is going to this one room. The people who installed my internet had to run a wire on my house and drill a hole on the side of my house. So its not trough all around the house. Its just one thingy. Please tell me what will happen/what to do.
Thanks

as a comcast employee dont worry about it the worst we will do is cut it off and after a week will check your address to see if its reconnected ,now if you are connect after that then you have something to worry about .

Their installation tech failed to disconnect it correctly
Enjoy your free TV
They might audit it later and simply disconnect it.
They can't hold you accountable for their error

I bet you
If you hock up an HD TV with a QAM tuner you can get premium channels and PPV

Try it and let me know
Good Luck
