I bought $90.00 refurbished Toshiba dvr which under warranty, Toshiba fixed. I am using sima 100. The tayoyuden dvd disks (8x) are from Supermediastore.com. The disks are premium and come in bundles of 50 in a spindle box. After recording, the disks play fine for 2 to 3 times but after that, the movies develop stops of a few seconds and then go on playing. Even though these copies are for my children, I know that some of these disks were handled by the edges only and they are kept in a rental store type jacket. The disks look dustless. Is this a problem with disks, or dvr? My guess is there is some sort of minor degradation in the copy. What can I do? Thank you in advance.
