Has anyone had any problems with discs initializing? I bought a pack of 5 Mitsubishi 4x DVD-RW for the dvd. They initialize and then record, problem is if you go to standby and then power up it re-initialize's the disc and we loose the recorded program? Took them back to the shop and exchanged them for Imation 4x DVD-Rw. The same is happening. Tested my old disc's (which have got used and abused by the kids) Philips DVD+RW 1-2.4x and 4x, also LG 1-2x DVD-RW and these all work fine. Has anyone encountered this? any discs's to recommend. Sounds like a burner problem I come across it all the time begining lead too close to index band
some media may have slight offset tracks There is nothing you can do but to replace burner drive You may want to contact manufacturing it maybe still under warantee
