I have a jvc dvd-r (new), motorola digital cable (charter), and a new Sharp flat screen tv (nothing fancy). My problem is when I turn on the DVD-R to watch a dvd or recorded tv program I am getting a jumpy picture with lins; so, I am figuring I have it hooked up wrong. Can anyone help me out. Have all the right cables just don't think I am hooking it up in the right order. Any help greatly appreciated. The other question if you know -- is there some way I can record one program while watching another. Of course that is after I get the hookup right... thanks Maria
