Plasma screen cracked, need help asap!!

ive been browsing, n i see a current topic on the same issue.
Im seeing different responses on this problem.

some say its fixable others say it isnt!!
i called a couple of tv repairs some say yes they can fix it others say might as well buy a new one..
i really need help, its a 42in plasma gateway tv, any suggestions?

You got to figure in the close of repair. Remember the repairmen get on average $105 per hour. So you have to factor in that cost and parts if that item is not protected.

I can't make your mind up, it's your choice what to do. If you got the money to replace it then you'll have to decide, but if not then you need to sit down and figure out the cost. Call around and see who can help you repair it.

Ask for a estamite. If it is over the cost of a new one you know what to do. In most cases yes it can be fixed but it would be cheaper to buy a new one.
