I used a multi region hack on my LG RH-188 (go to menu, scroll down to lock and press zero 7 times) although this displayed a region free message after activating, now my machine won't read any of my DVD discs - both burnt and bought DVDs. These discs were previously usable. I've tried unplugging my DVD for hours in the hope it would reset but to no avail. Does anyone know how to reverse or reset the machine? I've also tried entering the same hack again and it then says region locked, but unfortunately the discs still don't play. Anybody got any ideas??????
Every recorder has a way to be reset. Try holding the power button on the recorder for 10 seconds. It may be another button, or even a combination of buttons. If you can't find the right one, contact the manufacterer.
