i bought a 61 in samsung dlp 3 weeks ago and i noticed that sometimes it would just turn off by itself all of a sudden. i didnt turn on the sleep mode or timer. is this normal? or defective? thanks!!
i called tech support and they said that it turns off to protect itself from surge and stuff. told him i have a surge protector and he mentioned about the outlet being grounded or not grounded. he said if not grounded surge protector is no use. TRUE?
i had someone check the ground and outlet..he said something was loose and he tightened it. my tv has been on unintererrupt for 5 hours now.. checkin it tomorrow too!!! crossing fingers!!
