I have a Samsung DLP HLN4365. The TV stopped working one day and I checked the bulb and found that the glass inside the bulb container had broken into peices. I purchased a BP96-00224C(P) bulb off ebay and replaced the old one. On power up, the fans spin and the screen comes on and is looking good for about five seconds. Then shuts itself off and I get the 3 blinking lights. Any suggestions? Also, my color wheel was pretty loud, could that shut the TV down?

Buy a original lamp, ebay is full of used, generic, bad quality lamps. I bough one lamp on ebay, first one failed the first day, and the second one lasted 4 weeks just enough for the seller to no accept returns.
Read a review about generics lamps here: http://www.ercservice.com/faqs/generic-lamps.html

I bought my lamp at projectorlampcenter. don't
know how they are yet but they do offer a 6 month warranty which i bought. as far as ebay, you get what you pay for. its hard enough to trust a company let alone an individual.
