So I have a (as the subject says) Toshiba TV Model 27AF43 built in July 2003. It was plugged into an outlet in a room that we didn't use much for several months. When we were getting ready to move, and therefore take the TV, we found it would not turn on. It was making a high pitched sound which seemed to be coming from the rear vented part (forgive me for my lack of jargon).
