Hello, I have a Magnovox TV, Directv DVR, Pioneer DVD Recorder and a Panasonic VCR. I would like to connect all of these things together so that I can record from vhs to dvd, dvr to dvd, etc. I have been able to successfully connect the dvd recorder and the vcr, as well as, the dvr to the tv, however I can only view the dvd on one channel and the vcr on the other. I have also tried using a s-video cable which does allow me to combine all of the above mentioned items into one channel, however there is no sound. Do I need a separate audio cable for this to work? If so, what is the name of that cable? Is there a easier way to hook the afore mentioned items. Am I missing some equipment that I need to make all of this work, for example, I have seen an article mentioning a RF Modulator, is this what I need? Any suggestions will be helpful.
