Receipt required for new lamp for PT-50LC??

I purchased my PT-50LC about 10 months ago with a CC at Wal-Mart. My lamp just blew a few days ago... I'm still within the 1-year warranty. I called Panny, gave them my serial # and they said they would sent out TY-LA1000 as soon as I fax my receipt. But of course, I cant find it. I can find the receipt of the Panny DVD Home Theatre system I bought the same day (Diff. card) but all I can find for the TV is the record of the purchase with my Card company... Have I made a $300 mistake or is there any way around this?
