Hi All, I'm new to this group & a recent Cablevision IO subscriber and am looking into maybe getting a DVR. Can the Sony DHG-HDD250 be used on IO Digital Cable in my area, Greenwich, CT? I currently use an SA Explorer 4200.
I think I read somewhere if my provider has cable card technology then I can use the Sony DHG-HDD250 and I thought IO has cable card? To do this would I take the card from the SA 4200 Cablevision gave me & use it in the Sony? It does seem obvious but I want to be sure before shelling out the $$. Also, can you give recommendations for DVRs similar to the Sony? thanks!
