Hello gang. I would appreciate some help. I might buy an HD DVR (I subscribe to DTV) and use it instead of my HD receiver and standard DVR. In the long run, I might save money because I am spending $4.99/mo for the two receivers and can turn around and sell them. Here are my questions:
* If I buy an HD DVR, not from a DTV source but is compatible, does it need to have a card? What are the consequences if it does not have a card? Can I use an existing card in one of my other recievers? How is all of this info given to DTV?
* If I sell my standard DVR and HD reciever, say on E-bay, do I need to sell them with a card?
* What, in general, are your thoughts on HD DVR's?
