I'm building a new home with a theater. First time at this and I want to make sure it's right. I have a good audio visual guy, but I want to hear from someone else. The vewing area is from 12-15 ft or so. I have been thinking a 60-65" flat panel. My quesiton is, what is the best flat panel on the market for this type senairo?
Generaqlly stick with either a Panasonic or Pioneer. Panny has 65" plasma and Pioneer has 61" plasma. You are talking anywhere from $6k to $10K in this range.
For that size viewing area stick with a high end plasma.I would go with 42 inch.I have a marantz 42 and i love it .Going with a larger plasma will cost alot more and the picture is not any better. I paid 6500 dollars ...but worth every penny.
