Toshiba DLP Lamp Failure causes it to stop receiving DirecTV content?

The lamp on my Toshiba failed, I had the warranty, ordered a replacement and replaced it myself. The lamp and the tv works correctly now, except for one problem. It won't receive broadcast content from directv! It will display the directv menu, play dvds correctly, and videos from the vcr. All I can figure is that having the lamp go out caused a software glitch somewhere having to do with the v-chip perhaps? Has anyone seen a problem like this? I've tried going through the tv set up menu and have set all v-chip, ratings blockages to off, but it won't accept the content from the dirctv receiver! Absolutely bizarre!!

Try unplugging your Direct TV box for a few minutes for a reboot and then retry.
