I have an Akai Plasma from Costco....having a difficult time setting up the PIP feature. I can view a dvd and a TV channel at the same time and I can swap the screens. The Akai instructions are sooooooo vague, I'm not for sure if I can choose to hear sound and swap the sound feature too. There is a S. Swap button on my remote control, so I figured that was for sound.
What I CAN'T do is to view different TV channels at the same time.....I can change the channel in the PIP, but it's just the fuzzy gray screen......Also, how to set-up the sound swap too. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
If you want to watch two TV channels, the TV must have two tuners and they must both have an incoming signal (cableTV, set-top antenna, satellite, etc). Also, you probably can't watch two High Def channels at the same time on that display.
Bottom line, make sure you have two TV signals of some type going into the two tuner inputs.
