Living in Denver, I want to see if I will experience any issues down the road with a plasma. Looking at getting a 42" Panasonic and want to know if I should be concerned. Also, is an extended warranty recommended, and what should I expect to pay for one???
The high altitude buzzing issue I thought was resolved in newer plasmas. The 42 inch ED Panny is best of class; many say better than the 42 HD Panny. I personally dont recommend an extended warranty with a couple of cavetas. Purchase with a credit card that doubles the manufacturers warranty and also be clear on return policies of your evendor with regards to dead pixels. You want to be able to return if you get a pixel stuck on red dead center for instance.
