I have a question regarding my Samsung SP43W6HLX. I have just bought component cables for my xbox hoping to play some games in HD mode. I have enabled all 480p 720p and 1080i modes. The games work fine in 480p mode. Any ganmes that support 720p do not work as the TV just gives me a blue screen so I imagine the TV does not support that. Now when I try a game in 1080i mode it still does not give me a picture and instead just gives me a blue screen. DO you know why that is? The TV does state it is HDTV 1080i ready so why is it that it can not handle the 1080i mode?
hi..i assume you're talking about the 360. i have mine connected but i also made sure to set the output mode on the x-box 'dashboard' under 'display' let me know if that helps.

hi mate no i am talking about xbox 1 as some games are supported in HD mode. On the dashboard I have 480p, 720p and 1080i all enabled. Any games that are 480p work perfectly, but if any game that support 720p or 1080i the TV just give a black screen its like it can not handle the output.
