Can the cable company detect how many digital boxes are in a household. By digital boxes i mean leagal boxes that where issued from the cable company to other customers. For instance if i borrowed my friends, who lives down a block, digital box while he is gone on vacation in my house which is only subscribed to one digital box; could the company detect this? If so how? and also i tried his box at my house and it gets all of the channels as my box in the other room.
