Samsung will give you a more truer-to-life picture cause of a little higher contrast.DLP so cs=an handle movement very well,even si since it has a 7 segment color wheel.The Sony will give you a brighter ,sharper image(clearer).If you have fairly bright room a LCD will handle the light better and has better side angle.Though not by much but is significantly different.Bulb replacment are only $50 more for the Sony as well.Sony my pick is the Sony KDF-EA10.
