I have a new Samsung DLP and I am running a Toshiba DVD player using an HDMI cable. I have two questions. All movies have a very large letter box (8" on the top and bottom). I know some movies are recorded differently and you cannot get rid of small ones but these are huge. I have the aspect set to 16x9.
Second question. How do you get 5.1 using HDMI? Should I just run the audio using an optical cable?
