I have a stereo system (2+sub) currently connected through rca's to the stereo audio output on my Sammy 5067. I noticed, however, that I'm only getting audio through the amplifier when the TV is using the antenna for its source. If I use the digital optical audio output on the set, will it deliver signal to the amplifier full time? Or perhaps there's a setting on the TV that I've missed? I'd like to be able to set the receiver's source to "TV" and let any source setting on the TV itself be passed through.

I use the digital out to my Teac receiver and it sounds a lot better than when I was using the rca's. I now get the full sound through digital pro logic instead of just stereo.
