Ripped a DVD to my Hard Drive using DVD Shrink. I now have 2 BUP files, 2 IFO files and 5 VOB files. I am able to watch these files on the CPU by using Nero Showtime.
Point is I want to edit some of the DVD footage with some home movie footage, but need to convert it to a type that can be read by Adobe Premier 6.5.
iv heard changing the .vob extension to .mpg works fine, but i have a dvd cam and once did that n it wouldnt read the scenes right to try that other wise you can download divx converter 6 which has a free trial 4 15days, n im not sure if ucan convert ur .vob's to .avi's with that..give it a shot hope this helps Jono
