Am seeking an answer from thoes that are in the field, what is that powdery substance on the inside of a picture screen? Is it toxic? and if so how extreme?

(i believe) Phosphorus, yes, and I sure WOULDN'T eat it! but wash your hands afterward and try not to breathe it.
