Shall I keep the Denon 2900 if I buy the Pioneer DVR-930H ?

Hi, I have the Denon 2900 dvd player which I use with my Infocus 5700 projector, connected via component. Since I'm planning to buy the Pioneer DVR-930H DVD R, do you think I might use the Pioneer as the main dvd player instead of the Denon 2900 ? Will i loose quality in terms of video and audio ? The Pioneer has HDMI also, which might be a good plus.
