Monster Power?

Need advice. Is the Monster Power Home Theater PowerCenter HTS1000 a good idea for a new HDTV, Surround Sound set up? "Clean Power". I am told it improves the sound and picture as well as added protection in surge events. Yea or Nay.

I use the Monster HTS800 and it is good to have a decent power station that protects from power surges.

The Monster does help with the TV signal also.

The HTS1000 will protect from surges, but any picture or sound differences will be neglible, unless your power is filthy, which only makes more of a case for a power station which filters radio frequency and electromagnetic interference, or with voltage stabilization if need be.

The Richard Gray RGPC 400Pro is what I'd consider entry level for any noticable differences to sound and video.

the Monster product that matches its features will cost you much more.
