I just purchased the RCA HD52W59. Not a bad TV, although I have noticed the convergence on the right side of the picture seems to be off. I've tried adjusting the convergence but I still see some red on the left side. Right now the National Geographic logo shows misaligned red on the right. Same on the Dish Netword guide. Is there anyway to adjust this or does my TV have a problem?? Any help would be great. Thanks!

Did you try to use the autoconvergence feature in the menu? It usually does a pretty good job of bringing convergence back to the factory setting.

I have a couple of times, and no change really. Any other ideas?

Point-by-point convergence can be set by a good technician, but the controls are not accessible to the customer.

Does this tv have the ability to pick up hd signal or does it need a box or receiver from the cable company?

Yes, it is a fully integrated HDTV receiver. Although you might still need a cable box for special cable channels or features.
