I have an old Curtis Mathes Tronics TV/VCR combo without a remote. I am trying to hook up a DVD player to it. I can not get a picture. We have tried every channel. We used a universal remote but can't get a menu to come up on the screen. There is no channel selector on the DVD player. Does anyone know what we can do? Thanks in advance
You are probably going to have copy protection problems with a combo. You need to get it on line. If you can't get there by going through the channels, then there's an input or TV/AUX button on the remote.
