Just got a used DTC100 to see what sort of HDTV I could receive on my RCA HDTV ready big screen.
The hookup is quite simple as far as the manual is concerned, I mean, if I run rabbit ears or my Insight cable to attenna "in" and then run a 15p VGA cable between the 100 and the TV (w/RCA LR audio of course), I should receive at least one station in HDTV correct?
I tried hooking it up last night during MNF and neither cable or rabbit ears produced a picture that was better that the television alone.. that and there was a constant hiss in the audio no matter what channel I looked at (Air or basic cable)
I tried just about every hook-up/and setting combo in the menus of both but with no luck.. nothing helped.. Is it possible that my DTC 100 is bad? Is there something else I need to have/do in order to set this up? (cable card, etc)
